I just got an email from our new host earlier today, so that indicates that they're working on setting up the new server. Now if our old host would ever respond...

It seems to be working for me, so it was probably a temporary server error.
Also, here's an update: I finally got access to the databases, so it shouldn't be too much longer before the site is up and running again. There's still some work to be done, but at least we have a new server and access to most of the data from the old one.

Some thing strange happened when I visited the forums page, even though you have it up has being nothing there there's this strange "PY" in the corner. It also seems to crash my window every time I go there. But then again....I've been having touble with this thing for a while now...

You too? ...wierd...
Maybe it was hacked or something? Same thing goes for the MFL back up forums....That's the only thing I can think of because this isn't acting like a normal server glitch.

I would have to assume it was either those darn bots that keep appearing and clogging the site, or a concerted DDoS effort that killed the monthly bandwidth.
Thankfully we got a new host. Hopefully there can be some bot-flood fixes and perhaps some sort of other flood defenses that can be put into place.

Well, the MFL backups and the temporary Paradigm site are hosted on the same server, so it's definitely related to that. I haven't seen those symbols so I'm not sure what they are or what is causing them, but if anyone else notices them, please let me know. In the meantime, be sure to keep your virus scanners active and up-to-date just in case it is some sort of server-wide exploit.

I have some optimizations in mind once we get the site back up and running that should hopefully help.
Another update: Shredder's and my email is working again. If you sent us anything within the last couple of days and we haven't responded, please send it again because it may have gotten lost in the transfer. Unless anything goes wrong, we're probably looking at being back up by tomorrow night.

That seems to be the case, yes.
Perhaps it's only temporary? Looks like the site is back up.
